Electrochemical study of oxidized hyaluronic acid grafted with aniline tetramer Bletilla striata polysaccharide hydrogel wound dressings

Bletilla striata polysaccharide is a water-soluble, viscous polymer with antimicrobial and blood-clotting-promoting properties. The study uses it as a base material and crosslinks it with an electroactive carrier to produce a conductive, biologically active hydrogel.

Temporal dynamics of the biofilm-mediated open circuit potentials: Understanding the fundamentals via a combined thermodynamic and kinetic modeling approach

The study investigates the electrochemical thermodynamics responsible for generating and changing open-circuit potentials in biofilms and establishes a basis for using these measurements to examine bioelectrochemical behavior. It tests the idea that an appropriate model should explain how biofilm potentials change when environmental conditions vary, leading to development and validation of a generalized biofilm-electrode model.
