Wave-Structure Interaction
This special topic on “Wave-Structure Interaction” delves into the dynamic interaction between water waves and various marine structures, offering insights into both theoretical and practical aspects. It brings together cutting-edge research that addresses the complexities of wave scattering, wave power dissipation/absorption, and structural dynamics in marine environments. The contributions featured here deepen our understanding, advance the design and enhance the safety of offshore and coastal engineering structures. This special topic will be held in conjunction with a seminar titled “Workshop on Water Waves and Floating Bodies,” scheduled for October 18-19, 2024, in Zhoushan, China.
