Multi-Scale, Multi-Media and Multi-Physics Rheology
Rheology is the study of the flow and deformation of matter, particularly in response to applied stress. As computer processing performance increases, numerical simulations have become a powerful tool to study multi-scale and multi-physics rheological properties for complex systems. More recently, artificial intelligent techniques have been employed to help the investigation of the rheology. This special issue focuses on the applications of artificial intelligence, high-performance computing and quantitative verification within the rheology of complex systems. With this special issue, we aim to promote the development of more advanced theoretical frameworks and computational tools, enabling more precise modeling and simulation of multi-scale, multi-media and multi-physics complex systems.
