Celebrating the Achievements and Life of Paul H. Holloway
This Special Topic Collection honors the over 50-year history of pioneering and interdisciplinary contributions of Professor Paul H. Holloway to furthering our understanding of thin film deposition and the use of surface science as a seminal tool for material characterization, and as a pioneer in establishing interdisciplinary teams to address grand challenges in electronic and photonic materials research. The breadth of the collection includes surface science, nanoscience, thin film physics, and surface engineering.
Topics covered include, but are not limited to:
- Metal contacts
- Adsorption/desorption of molecule
- Growth of diamond films
- Development of luminescent thin films and quantum dots
