Commemorating the Career of Charles S. Fadley
The Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology A is soliciting research articles and reviews for a Special Topic Collection Commemorating the Career of Charles S. Fadley. This Special Collection will focus on important challenges, new developments, and current understanding in the fields of photoelectron spectroscopy and surface/interface science. Our goal is to offer the readers the newest, outstanding research in the many fields Charles Fadley influenced and participated in. The collection will cater to both scientists and professionals in industry while connecting fundamental research with practical applications.
The exploration of surfaces, interfaces, nanostructures and thin films using:
- photoelectron spectroscopy with laboratory and synchrotron radiation
- photoelectron diffraction
- photoelectron/fluorescence holography
- hard X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy
- soft X-ray standing wave spectroscopy
