2D Materials for Biomedical Applications
This Special Topic focuses on the latest research progress of 2D materials for applications in the biomedical and related fields, including but not limited to drug delivery, biosensors, antibacterial, photothermal therapy, and cancer therapy. We welcome submissions about graphene and its derivatives, 2D MOFs, COFs, LDHs, MXenes, nanosheets, black phosphorus, other 2D materials, and etc. Studies translating fundamental research of 2D materials into clinical applications are of particular interest. By covering the cutting edge of 2D biomaterials, this Special Topic aims to accelerate the translation of 2D technology and benefit human healthcare by bringing more research achievements to clinic.
Topics covered include, but are not limited to:
- 2D nanomaterials for cancer therapy
- 2D MOFs and COFs for biomedical applications
- MXenes for biomedical applications
- 2D nanomaterials for antibacterial applications
- Supramolecular 2D systems for biomedical applications
- 2D nanosheets for biomedical applications
