Proceedings of the 25th Topical Conference on High-Temperature Plasma Diagnostics
Scientists and engineers will gather from around the world to present their latest instrumental and data analysis developments at the 25th edition of the biennial Topical Conference on High-Temperature Plasma Diagnostics (HTPD) to be held in Asheville, North Carolina, on April 21-25, 2024. This conference, hosted by Oak Ridge National Laboratory with the University of Tennessee Knoxville, will bring together plasma physicists and engineers from a variety of fields, including magnetic confinement fusion, inertial confinement fusion, space plasmas, astrophysics, and industrial applications to discuss mutual problems in the development of instrumentation, analytical techniques, and data science for the characterization of high temperature plasmas.
Topics covered include, but are not limited to:
- Interferometry and Polarimetry
- Laser Scattering and Excitation
- Optical Spectroscopy
- Optical Imaging and Bolometry
- X-Ray Spectroscopy
- X-Ray Imaging
- Microwave Diagnostics
- Fusion Products, Energetic Particles, Particle Measurements, and Neutrals
- Magnetics, Probes, and Surface/Wall Measurements
- System Engineering, Generic Components, Data Acquisition, and Data Analysis
Guest Editors
Thomas Murphy, Los Alamos National Laboratory
Robert Kaita, Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory
