Networks with Dynamic Covalent Bonds and Applications

This Special Issue is associated with the European Doctoral Network ReBond, which focuses on the development of polymeric networks with dynamic covalent bonds and vitrimers, either as standalone materials or as additives in polymer matrices, to enhance mechanical and processing properties while improving the recyclability of polymers.

The goal is to advance our understanding of these materials and tailor their rheological properties through rational design strategies. We welcome contributions addressing the relationship among dynamics, composition, and bond strength in covalent adaptable networks, vitrimers, recyclable elastomers, and related materials.
