Festschrift in honor of Jianshu Cao: Non-equilibrium kinetics and quantum dynamics

Inspired by Jianshu’s commitments to fundamental science, this special issue of JCP aims to cover two areas of chemical physics: non-equilibrium dynamics in biomolecular networks and complex liquids and (ii) condensed-phase quantum dynamics in light-harvesting systems, molecular semiconductors, nano-scale thermal devices, and optical cavities. Reflective of the breadth and depth of Jianshu’s work, the special issue will invite contributions ranging across theoretical formulations, numerical simulations, and experimental measurements.
