Muography: Discoveries, Innovations, and Applications

The Special Topic aims to present the latest advancements in both technical innovations and a wide range of applications, highlighting the versatility of muography across various fields. Topics include innovations in muon detection and measurement technologies, algorithm development for data processing and image reconstruction, the integration of machine learning and artificial intelligence, and next-generation muography systems. This issue also emphasizes diverse applications such as nuclear security, environmental monitoring, volcanology, geophysics, archaeology, civil engineering, infrastructure monitoring, and homeland security. The collection features contributed papers from the 2024 Muography Workshop.
