Nonlinear Dynamics, Network Science, and Machine Learning: Dedicated to Ljupco Kocarev’s 70th Birthday
This Focus Issue celebrates the 70th birthday of Ljupco Kocarev, a remarkably prolific scientist whose scientific journey has led him to contributions from chaos theory and statistical physics via network science to machine learning. Ljupco has pioneered new ideas that transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries and have found manifold applications in biology, medicine, engineering and social sciences. This focus issue targets current progress on modern directions of these highly active fields of research. The contributions reflect Ljupco´s far-reaching impact, covering both theoretical developments and applied perspectives across the multiple fields he has influenced.
