Women in Energy Research
The “Women in Energy Research” special topic in APL Energy aims to highlight and celebrate the significant contributions of women scientists and engineers in the field of energy research. This collection will feature cutting-edge studies and innovative solutions addressing global energy challenges, including renewable energy technologies, energy storage, and sustainable energy systems. By showcasing the diverse perspectives and expertise of women researchers, this special topic seeks to inspire future generations and promote gender equity in the energy sector.
This Special Topic welcomes contributions from the entire Energy Research community that offer diverse perspectives on the topic. We invite submissions that demonstrate excellence in research, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and drive the advancement of energy science and technology.
Submissions to this Special Topic are eligible for a 30% discount on the open access article processing charge.

- Renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal energy)
