Special Topic Collection: Molecular Assembly at Biointerfaces

Biointerphases is soliciting articles for publication in a Special Topic Collection focusing on the assembly of molecules at biointerfaces. The Collection will include experimental and theoretical advances in our understanding of structure, motion, and chemistry of molecules interacting with biological surfaces.
Topics will range from understanding the interaction of water molecules with hydrated surfaces, to the interactions of small molecules with cell surfaces and functional assemblies at biointerfaces:
- Advancements of techniques and methods studying molecular assemblies
- Hydration and water-surface interactions
- Protein and DNA binding and folding at surfaces
- Medical drug molecules interacting with model cell surfaces
- Functional surface designs for controlled bioadhesion
