Special Topic Collection: Multidimensional Biomaterials
Submission Deadline: January 4, 2023
The development of bioprinting, organoids, spheroids and other engineered tissues creates a new frontier for Biointerface science where the interfaces we want to control and study can be located across all three dimensions. This Special Topic Collection will explore the techniques, challenges and opportunities for biomaterials and biointerface science in 3D systems.
Topics covered include, but are not limited to:
- 3D imaging
- Biosensing
- Bioreactors
- Bioprinting processes and inks
- Biomaterials in 3D
- 3D cell systems
- In situ analysis
- Interfaces in bioprinting
