We offer 2 different types of open access agreements for institutions:
Read & Publish
Combines open access publishing in hybrid journals with subscription-based reading.
Through this agreement, researchers receive:
- APC-free OA publishing in participating* hybrid journals.
- Reading access to subscribed* content.
*Check with your librarian to find out which journals are part of your institution’s agreement.
AIP Fusion
A comprehensive, all-inclusive agreement for unlimited publishing and access.
Through this agreement, researchers benefit from:
- Unlimited APC-free OA publishing in 40+ AIPP or partner journals—including gold OA titles—no article caps, no barriers, no extra steps.
- Unlimited reading access to our portfolio of AIPP and partner journals, from 1999 to present.
Both agreements include CC BY 4.0 licensing by default, ensuring full funder compliance. Author eligibility is automatically recognized during submission and applies to corresponding authors affiliated with participating institutions.

Publishing open access through your institution’s agreement is simple:
- Check if your institution participates by browsing the list above.
- Enter your institutional affiliation when submitting your manuscript. Note: you must be the corresponding author of your manuscript to be eligible under your institution’s agreement.
- If covered, your institution’s deal will be automatically detected and there will be no cost.
