MELVILLE, NY, June 4, 2025 — AIP Publishing is excited to announce MechanoEngineering, its newest journal, published in collaboration with the State Key Laboratory of Mechanics and Control for Aerospace Structures, has opened for submissions.
Announced back in February, MechanoEngineering — the latest diamond open access journal in the AIP Publishing portfolio — is dedicated to exploring dynamic mechanical influences on structures, materials, and systems. Its aim is to promote and disseminate original research pertaining to contemporary mechanics, with a particular emphasis on critical and emerging engineering topics.
“I’m thrilled to announce that MechanoEngineering is now accepting submissions!” said inaugural Editor-in-Chief Prof. Tian Jian LU. “A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated and friendly team at AIP Publishing for making this initiative possible. I eagerly anticipate contributions spanning the full spectrum of mechanics research as we work collectively to drive discovery, foster innovation, and advance scientific progress within our vibrant and collaborative community.”
Under Prof. LU’s leadership, MechanoEngineering will document the rapidly changing field of mechanics as it changes in response to technological progress, enhanced computing power, data flow advancements, and artificial intelligence.
