To advance our mission to promote the contributions of physical-science researchers, many of whom are addressing the world’s most complex problems, AIP Publishing is participating in the Kudos Coronavirus Knowledge Cooperative, a collaborative effort to broaden access to research that benefits human health outcomes.
The Kudos Coronavirus Knowledge Cooperative aims to combat the SARS COV 2 pandemic by advancing public understanding of new and significant research. AIP Publishing is collaborating with eight leading publishers, societies, and universities to offer free access to plain-language summaries and images that contextualize key findings. The findings from twenty research papers from Physics of Fluids, Chaos, and APL Photonics have been encapsulated and shared on the AIP Publishing Showcase and link through to the original article. This is the second collaborative initiative from Kudos designed to broaden discovery and application of published research. In 2021 AIPP participated in the Kudos Climate Change Knowledge Cooperative, a collaborative effort to tackle climate change with science.
“Our participation in these cooperative initiatives fosters a better future for physical sciences researchers and expands our role as a global force for science and societal good.” said AIP Publishing CEO Alix Vance.
