Melville, NY, August 23, 2017 – AIP Publishing has launched a suite of new services to support global researchers with their publishing goals – AIP Author Services.
AIP Publishing, a not-for-profit subsidiary of the American Institute of Physics (AIP), now offers pre-submission services to researchers which include English language editing, translation services, figure creation and figure reformatting, through AIP Author Services.
"Preparing a manuscript for submission can be a real challenge for researchers, especially if their native language is not English” says Dr. Jason Wilde, Chief Publishing Officer at AIP Publishing. “Removing these language barriers helps researchers make the best possible impact with their research and removes the burden on editors and referees to act as sub-editors."
AIP Author Services, provided by The Charlesworth Group, has a demonstrated track record of high quality, cost effective, editing services for the physical sciences and related disciplines. All language editing and translation services are performed by native-English-speaking postdoctoral editors with subject-matter expertise.
AIP Author Services is available to all researchers, regardless of where they want to submit their manuscript.
This is the latest effort by the scholarly publisher to help the research community realize the full potential of their scientific discoveries. AIP Publishing uses a non-restrictive license to publish, allowing authors to retain copyright of their work and sharing of the Author version of their research without embargo. And in June, AIP Publishing launched a new initiative Scilight, to showcase newly published research, expanding the reach of science to researchers across disciplines and to the general public.
