The American Institute of Physics today signed a statement committing to making open access (OA) to physics research a reality. The statement, signed by sixteen physics societies, welcomes the increased policy momentum towards open sciences and endorses OA models that can provide financially sustainable support for author choice and quality peer review and publication.
