APL Engineering Physics Now Open for Submissions

MELVILLE, N.Y., July 29, 2025 — AIP Publishing is excited to announce APL Engineering Physics, the newest gold open access journal in the scholarly publisher’s rapidly growing open access portfolio, is now open for submissions.

Announced in November of last year, APL Engineering Physics is dedicated to publishing impactful interdisciplinary research leveraging the principles of physics to tackle complex engineering challenges and pioneering technological solutions.

“We are delighted to open APL Engineering Physics for submissions,” said Prof. Ranjan Singh, editor-in-chief of APL Engineering Physics. “This is an ambitious new journal committed to publishing high-impact research in advanced engineering rooted in deep physical principles. Our goal is to foster a vibrant platform for pioneering ideas that will drive the technologies of the future.”

Under Prof. Singh’s leadership, APL Engineering Physics will be a leading home for work that focuses on analyses of the physical phenomena driving new technologies and insights into physics-first approaches for engineering solutions across diverse fields.
