Code of Conduct
AIP Publishing is committed to fostering an environment and culture that supports progress toward its mission: to advance, promote, and serve the physical sciences for the benefit of humanity by breaking barriers to open, fair research communication and empowering researchers to accelerate global progress.
It is the intent of this Code of Conduct to set clear expectations for behaviors and interactions that align with these values and ensure that all parties treat each other with respect to promote a positive, inclusive, and professional community. Any discriminatory actions, statements, or decisions based on individual characteristics, as well as threatening or harassing behavior of any kind, will not be tolerated.
Harassment includes but is not limited to inappropriate or intimidating behavior and language, unwelcome jokes or comments, and offensive images. The following are examples of inappropriate behavior:
- Foul or abusive language (verbal or written)
- Physical or verbal threats of bodily harm
- Malicious, derogatory, or defamatory statements
AIP Publishing upholds these standards and reserves the right to cease interactions with any person engaging in behavior that violates this Code of Conduct. AIP Publishing reserves the right to refuse to publish any content that could be considered distasteful or illegal.
