Responsible for the management of a complex portfolio of projects to execute AIP Publishing's  strategic goals.  Responsibilities include: partnering with leaders across the company to prioritize, manage, and execute business/technology initiatives.  The IT Program Manager will also manage all aspects of IT Operations portfolio and the project management of projects throughout the organization, including:  demand management, prioritization, governance, and execution.

 

The System Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of server hardware and software and related virtual server infrastructure in both an on premises and cloud environment.  Ensure that related procedures adhere to organizational standards and policies.  Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing improvement and innovation within the servicer infrastructure.

Provide consistent and quality technical and customer service for the IT Operations Group.  This includes:  providing support as directed for functions related to PCI compliance, IT policy and governance, risk management, project coordination and budgeting.

Ensure the success of a select group of AIP Publishing journals.  This includes working with journal editors to define editorial direction and develop content as well as performing research and analysis in support of strategic objectives.  Monitor and analyze journal metrics and measure progress towards targets as well as coordinate editorial input to marketing efforts that will ensure increased journal visibility.  Collaborate closely with Marketing to identify and align with the target audience and refine the marketing message to that audience.  Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements through market research.  This requires working closely with academic editors and researchers in the community, representing the journal to all external stakeholders.

 This position also includes responsibility for ensuring that development efforts support the overall strategies and goals of the Publisher’s Office and for working with internal business units to align activities to strategic objectives.  Candidate performance will be measured against each product’s success using various metrics.

Assist the Sales Support Manager and Sales Team with the administration of sales.  Prepare license agreements and monitor compliance with license guidelines.  Provide support and contribute to the overall work and responsibilities of the Institutional Sales Department.
