Charlesworth Author Services to partner with AIP Publishing

  • May 30, 2017

Melville, NY, May 30, 2017 – Charlesworth Author Services, a division of The Charlesworth Group, is delighted to announce a new partnership with AIP Publishing to provide language editing and publication support services, further strengthening the leading physical science publisher’s offering to authors.

AIP Publishing, a not-for-profit subsidiary of the American Institute of Physics (AIP), will offer a suite of expanded services to authors, including English language editing, translation services, figure correction, and re-drawing.

The suite will include a dedicated website and workflow environment, built by Charlesworth Author Services to support AIP's requirements and author-focused mission.

“By offering these services, AIP Publishing is taking a further step in supporting researchers with their publishing goals” says Dr. Jason Wilde, Chief Publishing Officer at AIP Publishing. “We already offer author-friendly policies around archiving and sharing research. Now we are enabling researchers, no matter where they publish, to produce compelling work that makes the highest possible impact.”

Charlesworth Author Services enjoys high levels of proficiency in editing content for the physical sciences and related disciplines. It has done this by using native-English-speaking postdoctoral editors to provide editing services and publication support. In addition, its unique workflow management technologies and staff expertise in publishing processes come together to bring truly customized solutions, resulting in flexible levels of integration with publisher-own and third-party systems based on clients' own specific needs.

Michael Evans, CEO of The Charlesworth Group, commented: “Charlesworth Author Services is delighted to be working with AIP Publishing on this new partnership. We are committed to delivering a solution that fits into their workflow and supports authors. We believe our flexible approach, trusted brand and broad range of tailored editing and publication support services will provide an outstanding service for AIP Publishing, authors and journal editors.”
