MELVILLE, N.Y., January 26, 2026 — AIP Publishing today announced the appointment of Meredith LeMasurier as Chief Publishing Officer. In this role, LeMasurier will lead the organization’s publishing strategy and journal portfolio, supporting AIP Publishing’s mission to advance the physical sciences through open, fair, and community-focused research communication.
LeMasurier brings nearly two decades of senior leadership experience across scholarly publishing, holding senior editorial, publishing management, and commercial roles at Elsevier, Springer Nature (SN), and Digital Science. At SN, she was Editor-in-Chief of Nature Neuroscience before moving into a series of publishing leadership positions, including overseeing SN’s industry-leading open access portfolio. Most recently, she was the Executive Vice President at Digital Science for the publisher market.
